Gary Collins is an experienced consultant with a strong professional history, a background in vocational education and training research and development and many years of operational and executive management in government and industry.
Gary has held Board and Committee positions on national and state advisory bodies, was a ministerial appointment to national organisations and has chaired major national reviews.
Gary has extensive experience in the governance, management and operation of not-for-profit organisations. He has worked with numerous associations and clubs on the development of strategic, operational and business plans. Gary has also established and managed a range of businesses providing services to industry in areas such as employee relations, international trade, apprenticeships, vocational education and training, migration services and legal advice.
Gary’s consultancy experience includes numerous strategic planning processes, organisational reviews and renewals, research and analysis activities and major projects for the Australian, Victorian and Western Australian governments and overseas projects in Brunei Darussalam, Singapore and Thailand.
Gary and the consultancy team use strong, evidence-based advice to ensure clients are provided with the ‘complete picture’ before deciding on the appropriate course of action.
